This policy describes how AIFOBeta (“we”, “us”) handles information when you use the Orbit Cycle mobile application (“App”). We designed the App to keep sensitive health-related data on your device by default.
The App may store and process the following types of information on your device only:
We do not require you to create an account to use the App in its default mode. You may use the App in an anonymous, device-local manner as described in the App.
Information stored on your device is used to:
We do not use this on-device data to sell your personal information or to show third-party advertising inside the App.
Your data is stored using on-device storage (local database files on your phone). It is not transmitted to our servers for the core tracking features described above. If you uninstall the App or lose your device without a backup, that locally stored data may be permanently lost unless you use a future backup feature we announce separately.
You are responsible for keeping your device secure (passcode, biometric lock, device encryption) to protect sensitive health information stored in the App.
If you grant notification permission, the operating system may show reminders scheduled by the App. Notification content is generated on your device based on your settings and logged data. We do not need to read your notifications on our servers to provide this feature.
The App may cause limited network activity unrelated to uploading your cycle logs to us, for example:
We do not integrate third-party analytics or advertising SDKs in the App’s codebase for tracking you across apps at the time of this policy. If that changes, we will update this policy and, where required, seek appropriate consent.
Information you log about menstruation, symptoms, and related wellness can constitute sensitive personal or health-related data under applicable laws. We process it only as needed to run the App on your device as described here. The App is not a medical device and does not replace professional medical advice.
The App is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your region). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us using the details below.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of personal data. Because core data stays on your device, you can often delete it by removing entries in the App or clearing app data / uninstalling the App from your device settings.
For questions or requests that require us to respond (for example regarding future online services), contact us at the email below.
If you use the App from outside your home country, your device manufacturer and app store may process data in other regions under their policies. Our handling of information is limited as described in this policy.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version with a new “Last updated” date. If changes are material and we collect data online in a new way, we will provide notice as required by law or by the app store.
