Orbit Cycle

Privacy Policy

Last updated July 12, 2026

Orbit Cycle stores everything you log — cycle dates, symptoms, mood, notes — only on your own device. There is no server, no account, and no version of your health data that we ever receive, see, or store ourselves.

What data the app collects

The app collects the following categories of information, entered directly by you, and stored locally on your device only:

  • Cycle and period dates
  • Flow intensity, symptoms, mood, and cervical discharge notes you log
  • Notification and reminder preferences
  • App settings (theme, onboarding progress)
  • Optional period-product inventory counts you enter

None of this data is sent to us or to any third party. There is no account creation, no sign-in, and no device identifier is ever transmitted off your device by the app.

Data we do not collect

We do not collect, and the app does not contain, any of the following:

  • Analytics or usage tracking
  • Advertising identifiers or ad SDKs
  • Crash reporting services
  • Location data
  • Contacts, photos, or other device data unrelated to cycle tracking
  • Any account, email address, or sign-in credential

Notifications

Reminder notifications (e.g., predicted period, logging reminders) are scheduled and delivered entirely on your device using the operating system's local notification service. No notification data is sent to or generated by a remote server.

AI Coach feature

The app includes an in-app "AI Coach" that answers cycle and health questions. In the version of the app you are using, the AI Coach runs entirely offline, using a built-in library of responses — no message, question, or cycle data is transmitted anywhere. If a future version of the app enables an online AI coach mode, that mode will be clearly identified in-app, and this policy will be updated to describe exactly what is sent and to whom before that feature is enabled.

Backup, export, and sharing

You may export your data (as a JSON backup or a PDF summary for a doctor's visit) at any time. This export happens entirely on your device. If you then choose to share that file — for example, via email, messaging, or cloud storage — that transfer is initiated by you, through your device's own share sheet, to a destination you choose. We do not receive a copy, and the app itself does not upload the file to any server.

Data deletion

You can permanently delete all data stored by the app at any time from Settings → "Delete all my data." This immediately and irreversibly erases all locally stored cycle, symptom, and settings data from your device. Because we never hold a copy of your data, there is nothing for us to delete on our end — deleting it on your device deletes it everywhere it ever existed.

Children's privacy

The app is designed for general audiences tracking menstrual health, including teenagers. Because the app collects no data from any user (all data stays on-device and is never transmitted to us), we do not knowingly collect personal information from children in a way that would require additional safeguards under COPPA or similar regulations.

Changes to this policy

If we ever change how the app handles data — for example, by introducing an optional online feature that transmits data — we will update this policy and clearly disclose the change before it takes effect.
